Ibrahim W. Ajibola Amoo (b. 1999) is a Nigerian painter born in Ibadan, Nigeria. Growing up in Ibadan influenced his sensitivity to people, gesture, and everyday life, which remain central to his work.
He completed his secondary education in 2016. His interest in art developed during this period and gradually became his primary form of expression.
In 2020, he began formal training at the Ebenezer Akinola Studio in Ibadan under Nigerian artist Ebenezer Akinola. This training focused on painting and figure studies and played a formative role in strengthening his technical foundation.
His work is grounded in realism and centers on the human figure. Recurring themes include identity, vulnerability, resilience, and inner strength. Through controlled composition and attention to expression, he focuses on emotional presence rather than narrative elaboration.
His current practice reflects a dialogue between contemporary figurative realism and lived experience.
