Joffer Jhon Dolatre is a painter whose transition into art began at age 35 after major economic disruption during the pandemic. Previously working as a koi fish breeder and wage earner, he turned to drawing and painting as a focused new direction during a period of instability.
His earliest works centered on koi fish, a subject closely connected to his prior livelihood and daily observation. What began as a personal outlet developed into a consistent artistic path, and he later started sharing his pieces online under the name JJC Painting.
His imagery is rooted in nature studies, with attention to movement, surface detail, and calm visual rhythm. Across his work, he combines expressive color and controlled composition to produce pieces that are both accessible and emotionally grounded.
Today, Joffer continues to build an emerging independent career defined by discipline, sincerity, and steady creative growth.
