Oluwatobiloba David is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Lagos, Nigeria, and a Fine Art student at Yaba College of Technology. His practice spans painting and digital media, with a sustained focus on figurative storytelling rooted in lived experience and cultural context.
From an early stage, he developed art as a primary mode of expression, building a body of work that draws from personal history, African identity, social realities, and spiritual reflection. Across media, he approaches image-making as a structured process of inquiry, using composition, symbolism, and color to construct layered narratives.Alongside academic training, he continues to develop his professional practice through commissions and exhibitions. This dual path has shaped a disciplined working method and a clear long-term commitment to growth as an independent practitioner.
His work frequently engages themes of identity, social tension, and inner resilience, balancing conceptual intent with formal control. Whether on canvas or in digital form, his pieces emphasize emotional clarity and narrative depth while remaining grounded in technical development.
Today, Oluwatobiloba David is establishing an emerging practice defined by consistency, cross-medium fluency, and a focused engagement with contemporary African visual discourse.
