Overview

Lekan Amosu is a Nigerian painter based in Lagos whose practice began in childhood. Working in oil and acrylic on canvas, he has developed a focused body of work through sustained independent practice. 

His paintings center on Black culture and lifestyle, using figurative imagery to examine identity, everyday experience, and social presence. Across his work, he combines bold visual language with clear compositional structure.

Today, Lekan continues to build his career as an emerging independent artist, with a practice defined by consistency, cultural focus, and long-term artistic development.
